Find out why 100K+ engineers read The Code twice a week

Staying behind on tech trends can be a career killer.

But let’s face it, no one has hours to spare every week trying to stay updated.

That’s why over 100,000 engineers at companies like Google, Meta, and Apple read The Code twice a week.

Here’s why it works:

  • No fluff, just signal – Learn the most important tech news delivered in just two short emails.

  • Supercharge your skills – Get access to top research papers and resources that give you an edge in the industry.

  • See the future first – Discover what’s next before it hits the mainstream, so you can lead, not follow.

Quilindschy Hartman was one of the most admired young full-backs/wing-backs in Europe two years ago when Total Football Analysis last scouted the Dutchman.

Hartman was a key part of Arne Slot’s Feyenoord side that won the Eredivisie in 2022/2023 and won the KNVB Cup in 2023/2024.

The left-back was heavily linked with both Chelsea and Arsenal in 2024 before a serious knee injury set him back, leaving him sidelined for almost a full calendar year.

Hartman ultimately secured his move to England this past summer, with Scott Parker’s Burnley the destination.

There’s been plenty of speculation around Hartman’s transfer status of late, with highly publicised links to fierce Feyenoord rivals Ajax (since refuted by Hartman himself) and, more recently, links to Beşiktaş.

Clarets boss Parker, meanwhile, has explained Hartman’s absences from some recent matchday squads more or less as managing the 24-year-old’s workload and giving him time to adapt to his new environment, which seems sensible, especially coming off the back of that lengthy knee injury.

This Quilindschy Hartman scout report analyses the Netherlands international’s exciting profile, highlighting the unique skills he brings to Scott Parker’s side and why his current team doesn’t allow him to show the best of himself on the Premier League stage.

The Premier League is in its busy winter phase, which is often one of the most decisive periods of the season.

On Wednesday, two struggling teams trying to salvage their seasons met, with AFC Bournemouth hosting Tottenham Hotspur in Gameweek 21.

Both teams have struggled over the last couple of months, ending up in the lower half of the midfield in recent weeks, so they are trying to regain some form.

Bournemouth, under manager Andoni Iraola, have not won any of their last 11 games in the Premier League.

After a very successful season, the Cherries are now threatening to drop back into the relegation battle if one of the other teams catches some form somehow.

For Spurs, it’s just another very disappointing season.

After winning the UEFA Europa League last season and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, expectations were high under new manager Thomas Frank.

Spurs finished last season in the league in a disappointing fashion, and it doesn’t look like there will be a big improvement under the new Danish coach, putting a lot of pressure on Frank already.

In the end, in a hard-fought game, Bournemouth managed to beat Spurs at home thanks to a late goal, their first win in months.

In this tactical analysis, we will look at the tactics used by the two managers, how the game shaped up, and how Bournemouth ended up winning a close contest.
